Does anyone else have this occassional thudding pop sound when the engine is warmed up and in neutral? I already know about the clicking sound when starting or slowing down, but this sound is different. Sometimes I can feel it through the seats. Is it backfire, coz it's been doin it since day one.

i sometimes feel that in my seats too. i thot they were normal. are we the only ones with this issue?

 

Does it shake the seat because of the impact or because its happening from there. My best bet: lower or upper control arm going on your driver side. Eaisest way to tell, hold your foot right under the clutch and slightly to the left. If you feel the pop more so from here than in your seat, ya got trouble. On my old chevy blazer, I had this odd thud occasionally, and then started feeling it in the floor alot. Few weeks later, my wheel bearing spun out as my upper control arm went bye bye.
