#1 Things is to make sure the carfax AND autocheck are clean. Autocheck will pickup stuff that carfax may miss.

clean title. and get a car mechanic to check your car to see if it's good shape or not.

ask for all the maintnence reccords. ect. look at the belts and tires and oil ect. if its an auto make sure the manual shifting works if a manual make sure clutch is good and goes into gear easy.

if it has more than 60 miles expect the battery to go out, im pretty sure the wheel bearings will give you problem and the window motor is probably gonna go out soon depends on window usage.

i could be wrong all depends on how the vehicle was driven just some BS i had to go through when i got mine

I agree with what everyone said above. Also, Check the seats. Specifically, the driver side bottom left bolster. It tends to be sagged down and the leather is ripped with use. My seat totally looks fine when you first look at it, but if you push on the bolster from the side you can see a minor tear is forming in the leather. Also, check the bottom part of the doors where the speaker is since that tends to get scuffed up with people entering and exiting the car without paying attention. Check the threads on tires, scuffed/bent wheels, spare wheel and jack/accessories. Check if all the lights are working on the interior and exterior. In general, just check if all the electronic features, ac, wipers, etc. is working. All in all, check every damn part of the car that you can think of. I found some minor issues on the 04 G35 I purchased, but I used them to lower the price of the car. Hope that helps.

An 05 would be out of warranty. Maybe purchase an extended warranty or buy a newer model. Carfax is always good too....
