Wait until the charger comes out with 6.1 SRT motor baby - we'll all be clamoring for high12's in less than 3 years wondering how we lived with cars in the 14's. I drove a 300c and it'r great off the line but ok at speed - you need to kick it pretty good. The best time I've seen for a 300C in all mags is 14.2. That's no problem for even a sedan G with auto and 750 bucks in mods. You dont need a pig v-8 to run 14's. When it's got 450hp then it may get my attention again..sure sounds good.

our V6 cant match the toque of the V8 off the line, then with the 340hp it will be hard to beat it with a AT

So you guys are saying if we kept on going past 65, i would of started to catch up ?? It seem like i was making up a bit of ground right before we shut it down ??? The car is at the dealer right now, getting an oil change and looking @ the ECU flash..

 

Man those 300c's are soooo UGLY. Looks like a gangster car, I mean like the Fat Mobsters for the 40s. I saw my first one in real life the other day, I don't care if those things have 1000 HP and did 0-60 in 3.0, I wouldn't be caught dead in one!

 

AT or MT The G is not that fast.

There are so many cars out that can whip our A$$.

 

Gotta say I agree with Koni. The G is fast enough to be a lot of fun, and it's a good blend of looks, performance, and luxury with 4 seats and a trunk that fits 2 golf bags with a little room to spare.

If you're looking for a racer though you're in for a bit of a disappointment. It will beat a lot of cars, but it will be beat by a lot of cars.

 

Did you read the posts on '05 6MT specs? It has more HP but less torque than the '03-'04 G. If that's true then I don't think the '05 6MT will do better against the 300C off the line.

I think 300C's are cool looking cars. My dad hopes to get the SRT-8 for his next car and I'm all for it.

6mt is not his solution...the 5at and the 6spd g35s aren't that far apart in speed....either way, the 300c will still smoke him.

 

I'm all for slamming American cars, but the 300 is badass....If I was in for a sedan (and trusted American cars for the long term), that would be the one.....
