DID THE ENGINES CHANGE
2005 - 2007 6MT cars got a "REVUP" engine with a bump in HP rating (298 vs 280 in 03-04 & 05+ Auto trans).

the rev up engines were in the 06-07 models. Same VQ35DE but with diff fuel mapping.
I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong I'm lookin forward to it.
I have an 03, so I haven't bothered to learn much of the differences.

^^ I believe it is 298/260... but I'm a total noob and would be happy to be corrected.

Just purchased a 2006 w/sport trim...26k miles...sat in a garage, COVERED for 5 years. I never saw a car so clean underneath!! I feel like a criminal driving it in the rain. I'm so sorry G, but your my only car right now

2 years and it will be back in the garage...then starts the build. No performance mods till then for me. Sometimes I miss my subie's violent pull...... then I get on the highway and slap myself in the face for being an idiot.

The size of the rotors was increased in 06 right? Were the calipers upgraded as well?

It looks like the rotors were bumped in 2005. I checked the specs on centricparts.com and found the following:

2003
Base: 295.7mm diameter | 24mm thick
Brembo: 324mm diameter | 30mm thick

2006:
320mm diameter | 28.1mm thick

2005 shows both the base part number for "AWD" and the newer part number for "RWD"

I'm assuming the Calipers were upgraded because I can find replacements for 2003, but not 2006 from both autozone and advanceauto.

06+ have a slightly different front fascia, improved tail-lights, Bluetooth. 05+ have real aluminum trim inside, Rev-up on the 6MT, and Ray's Custom 19" wheels with the Sport package.

That orange stitching is part of the sport package, some non-revups came with that also.
