hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you with 06'-07' models are having any electronic issues with your power windows and door locks as reported with the 03'-04' models? Thanks

I have an 06. If my driver window is all the way down and I try to put it up using auto function (pulling switch up, past the click), the drive window will not go up. I then have to pull the switch up until it it stop, but not past the click and it works fine. After it goes up a few inches, I can activate auto feature just fine. Not sure if there is a fix for this.

I have an 06 6mt coupe and my passenger side window works fine but when I roll it up and it gets to the top it drops about a quarter of the way down so I have to stop it when it gets to the top and then bring it all the way up in little steps. Also when the door is opened instead of it dropping down about an inch to clear the frame it just stays where it is. Not sure what sensor it is so I haven't fixed it yet. Anyone else having this problem?

thanks for your input guys, i'm looking into buying an 06' and just trying to pinpoint all known issues and see if there are any quick fixes. Thanks for the info. Are there any other issues that the 06' models share with the earlier 03'-04' models that i should be aware of before making a purchase? thanks.

The only other problem I really have is that it consumes oil but that all models I believe. The 06 has the Rev up engine and so more hp. Good choice. I absolutely love my car and I'm sure you will too

Search the "Window Reset Procedure" should clear that up. It involves pulling off the door panel and pushing a button while rolling up the window. I've had to do it before. Basically the car doesn't know where the "full up" position is and thinks it's jammed against something (like a hand/face) and drops down for safety.

I hate going into the auto store to get a 5 quart oil only to have the cashier ask me ervytime if i need a filter. I just say nah, i just have a g35. I use that jug of oil over 6 weeks just to keep at the right level.
