I suggest you do some searching and a crap ton of more research because if you are asking a question like this you obviously have no knowledge on the subject. Not even mentioning how you are most likely in no sort of financial situation to afford the very costly job of turboing your car when you can't do any of the work yourself.

No knowledge plus "cheap" aren't even on the same planet as each other when talking about forced induction on your car, heck cheap is never on the plate unless you make a lot of money. So unless you are able to drop over $20k right now on your turbo project just give it up.

Oh ya and I hope you didn't forget your flame suit because this is most likely going to be one of the nicest replies you get.

Hey man see you're new to the board, so first off welcome. As far as your question your best answers are gonna come through a lot of searching (and I'm sure many people will tell you to do so). And as far as starting out looking at going FI with a question of whats cheapest and a certain hp number is probably not the way to go about it. There will be absolutely nothing cheap as far as FI goes, and if you do go cheap it will cost you much more in the long run. Also auto G's lose a lot more power through the drivetrain so a lot of rwhp numbers you might see for certain setups (assuming most of them are manual) will be less then what yours would put out....Seriously its something that you need to spend a lot of time researching before going for it. Good luck

Do the research. Its going to cost you around 10K if you go for a supercharged setup. It will be more if you decide to go with turbos. If you plan on building the motor, thats when costs will be around 20K. I've been contemplating going FI for over a year now but for the amount of money I would have to spend for such minimal gains, its not worth it.
good and cheap + Fi = blowing up.

If you're serious about doing this I would recommend you spend a LOT of time going through this thread and also read through my350z. They have a tendency to be a lot more technical there than we do.

It doesnt cost 10k for a supercharged setup. Most people have run on stock internals for those all day on a stock pulley, which run will around 350-380 hp.

VB upgrade 1k max.....could do transgro shift kit on your own for 250....but would agree with that its probably a good 10k for FI. But supercharger would definitely be cheaper then turbos

Where do you see it not costing at least 10k? Even if you bought some things used you'd still come up just shy of around 10k.
I mean you can get a supercharger for like 3-5k if you go used and get a good deal, especially non-revup. But this guy doesn't have any supporting mods either so I agree that he will not be under $10k unless he skimps like hell or gets insane deals.

Either way, this guy obviously hasn't done the research and I would have to eat my words if he actually ends up getting FI.

Are you kidding me? You dont need any of that extra stuff unless youre looking to go further than 400. This guy is not. He should not eclipse the 10k mark at all. You dont need a standalone, fuel pumps under 100, plugs 50, injectors 400-600. Not even close.

He is going to run a supercharger without even doing anything to the exhaust? I'm not even going to suggest any of the engine mods since those aren't really as important as doing the exhaust as well. I mean just the exhaust is going to run him over $1k for the exhaust plus HFCs or test pipes
