No hate here, just not a great idea! =o(

Wash your own car and please don't get chrome rims, that's not an upgrade and they weigh a ton. Chrome is like so "South Central"

I just bought rims a month ago. I would never take it through those track car washes. IMO, washing the car at home is the best way to go. Its cheaper, safer, and comes out much better. I have chrome lips on my wheels (Racing Hype R1) and I think it looks really nice. I am not a huge fan of all chrome wheels, but people got their own tastes.

Part of purchasing aftermarket parts is anticipating maintenance/repairs. If I stuffed a turbo in a Civic, where am I going to take it? My local Honda dealership?
u can take the civic to the chop shop down the street

not to mention that the rims are not the point of this thread smart ***.
Chrome 20" rims is not "your own style".

It's the style of every lowlife drug dealer and gang member. At least around here it is. I have to laugh every tmie I see those fugly things on an otherwise nice car. After I stop laughing I feel sorry for the poor car.

If that's what you're going for, then more power to you.

^"it's the style of every lowlife drug dealer and gang member"?
you feel sorry ...for a car?
chrome has been out and on wheels for a VERY long time. chrome is a factory option in many cases. chrome 20" rims is indeed a style- just not yours. and not solely for those you categorize, although many drug dealers may have 20" chrome rims
many rich people out here in California have chrome wheels to shine in the sun & blind other drivers LMAO haha jk but you get my point i hope.

wash them yourself

get some simoniz wheel cleaner and just use a cloth to wipe it down

works pretty decently

and don't listen to the haters, i'm DEFINITELY not a fan of chrome, but do what you want with your own car.

I got my chrome 22's (not on my G) rashed bad as hel.l in a track car wash. I dont care about them so it doesnt bother me. I cant take the G into track washes either because its too low so I have it hand washed and take it to the carwash place for the interior to be done.

..so these are ugly too guys? Cause he's getting t1s in WBC. Sick finish.

and did this dude "ruin" his IS?

and ooooh, these are soooo hideous

You guys don't like chrome wheels then be glad they're going on his car and not yours. Otherwise stfu and keep your useless $.02 to yourself. It's amazing the amount of hating that goes on sometimes, just cause he is doing something different.

The kid asked a question, that's all. Don't hate on his wheel finish choice until you see it on his car. I could see if he was buying something like this for his G, then I'd say flame on

Examples of ruining a G can be found here https://g35driver.com/forums/picture...y-g35s-49.html

as for the carwash, wash at home bro, I know you don't live in a place where its easy to do so, but anythings better than effing up new works in a carwash..you saw what it did to my girls car
