I thought this was g35driver.com. Not honda-tech. Matter of fact, seems like the guys over at honda-tech and acurazine are a lot more mature than some of the peeps here.
Chrome is easy to clean. Just sponge and a simple car wash soap and shampoo will do. Forget the car wash. Especially the automated one.
And I had a Works T1S in WBC finish. (a bit darker than chrome), and it's a pretty sick finish. According to Work, it's not really chrome... But some type of paint if I recall correctly.

I just bought rims a month ago. I would never take it through those track car washes. IMO, washing the car at home is the best way to go. Its cheaper, safer, and comes out much better. I have chrome lips on my wheels (Racing Hype R1) and I think it looks really nice. I am not a huge fan of all chrome wheels, but people got their own tastes.
