Mine has about 75K at the moment and I can't really complain...I've put about 40,000 miles on it and other than a strange noise here and there, it's mechanically sound. I have heard from many members though that after 50K it turns into a piggy bank, I haven't had that problem yet (knock on wood!) but I'm just one person.

My 04 G coupe has only 40kmiles and runs great. My cousin has an 03 g35 sedan that has 187kmiles. He has a 120 mile commute daily and he says it still runs how he got it when it had 100k. My dad had a 92 nissan maxima that was retired a few years ago at 230k, which was because it got totaled. I don't think the engines ever are the problem its all those minor electrical components, sensors, etc. that go bad on top of the normal wear and tear items. I wouldn't really worry about the engine as long as you take care of it.

Maintenance and preventative maintenance is key for many trouble free miles.

Just like preventative medicine, preventative maintenance is key to maximizing the longevity of your car. Know your maintenance schedules and replace normal wear items before they fail on you.
