My car isn't lowered I just threw 19's on it and all of a sudden I started to hear scraping sounds...one of my friends says it could be related to hitting the gas pipe something something...although there was no indication of damage to the rear tire.

Have you checked if your strut is blown? Also wouldn't hurt to take off the wheel and check the spring/bucket and make sure there isn't anything going wrong there.

You can't fit a fat chick in these trunks. Hell, I can barely fit and I'm only 5'6.

The OE swaybar endlinks are trash, that's a possibility but the only way to find out is to get your car on a rack and check everything out....

hmmm...sounds like this issue is very common with the G's....its weird because when i'll go over a nasty bump and I anticipate the sound (cringing) it doesn't occur but unexpectedly i'll hit a random bump/dip and it'll make that scraping sound again....waiting for oil change at the dealers and have them take a look at it....also I hate that they have a fee to just check out a problem...

thanks for all your input guys...and to all those who have or had this problem i feel your G's pain!

Did you ever figure out was causing this? I just started getting the same thing. More like a thud thud thud sound over small bumps in the right rear.

ok this problem i kinda know and ill be able to inform everyone tues!!!! im bringing mine in to the stealership cause i have uneven tire wear on my rear passenger tire. your problem...(drum roll please)....is prob your alignment is off due to your control arm or your ball bearings in the tire are crap and/or the rear axle itself. im not positive but mine is being checked tues so i can follow up on it. they told me it would be 79 bucks just for an alignment though...bastardssss!!! im hoping my control arm just needs to be readjusted and i can use the tsb to replace my rear axle!!
