If you have an 06 5AT, just get the spacer. It's all you need.

If you have an 06 6MT, you can get the spacer and MREV2 for maximum gains, or just get the MREV2 if you want to save a couple bones. From the dynos I've seen the spacer will only give you additional power on top of the MREV2 in the very upper rev range so it may or may not be worth another couple hundred dollars to you.

oh yea i forgot to ask if you had AT or MT. if auto then just get 5/16 spacer. where you live you probably won't need iso copper since this is for mostly places where it gets real cold.. you can get 1/2 inch spacer if you are not planning on installing a front strut bar. (but let me tell you the upper strut bars don't do jack its mostly for looks)

Yes I have an automatic. Will I see a gain with the spacer? 5/16 or the 1/2?

5/16 spacer gives you more power in lower mid range, 1/2 spacer gives you more overall power but only in the upper rev range which will hardly ever be at especially in an automatic. Go with 5/16.

On an unrelated note, use the search function. Any question you have about these cars has been answered, argued over, and answered again. This question gets asked 100x times a day.

This is what you should be getting, HP gains don't change if you have a 6MT or 5AT! It's still a major HP gain you can feel and use. MotorDynes MREV2 and Spacer are worth every dime it costs you! Here's Riverside Infiniti's number....800-913-3130 ask for Tony.

I don't agree with that, OP said he had a 5AT where MREV2 will show negligible gains. This has been dyno proven. It'd be a lot of money for a very minimal gain if he were to get the MREV2.

Maybe asking Tony at MotorDyne would be a good idea since it's his product....661-993-5111. That way you'll have an answer not just an opinion.... You might be right.

Tony (Motordyne) has personally told me that the gains of the mrev2 on a 5at are very minimal. If the mrev2 on a 5at made similar gains to that on a 6mt, I wouldve had the mrev2 a long time ago.

But dont just take my word for it, give Tony a call, I'm sure he'd be more than happy to answer all your questions.

I say get the 5/16".

Tony (Motordyne) says the 5/16 is the way to go!
Thank you gentlemen.
