Does anyone know about INJEN???

OK

So supposedly INJEN decided to discontinue there exhaust line for the G35 Coupe.

I finally have decided that was the exhaust i wanted and now it is un available.

Also I had a rep inform me that they are working on a new model at the moment so does that mean new better exhaust for the g35?

Anyways if anyone could shine some light on the situation please do.

I REALLY WANT THIS EXHAUST!!!

Best bet is to call and ask. Talk to them a bit and if they are making a new exhaust for the G coupes, you might even be able to influence their decisions a bit and be a tester.

Ok so this morning I talked to Paul Ho (head of research and development) and he told me that it will not be ready for another 6 months.

He also told me the reason for this wait is that they have lots of other exhaust scheduled to be created for other cars before the new one for the G35

So now i know that there is a new exhaust coming in about 6 months
time to start counting the days

I have one myself, greatest exhaust ever with windows down and cruising.
Horribly embarrassing with guests in the car, the drone is so bad you really can't talk. I think one vendor on here still has some of their SES exhaust in stock, just give a quick look in the vendor marketplace. Also they come up used occasionally for a pretty good price typically. Just keep an eye open

Is it a redesign or a new exhaust for the newer Gs?

If the old system drones and they're redesigning the system to fix that, I can see them adding a new resonator or making the exhaust a slightly smaller diameter, or maybe even just a thicker piping material.

that would have been a good question to ask and it is a redesign for the 2003-2007 g35 coupes that they are working on a new model for.

but your probably right and maybe they needed to redesign it to hopefully draw more buyers to them.

I'll send Paul and email and see if he can shed any light on the situation, but from the way it sounds they seem to have a lot going on and they might not have even started research and developement on the new exhaust.

what part of the Injen exhaust causes the drone do you think? I have a freind who is parting out his G35 and has this exhaust. Do you think if I added an x-pipe instead of the H-pipe the drone could be reduced. I will be adding it to my Megan resonated test pipes as well.

hmmm idk what you can really do its just this exhaust that drones ... it could be the welds or the metal itself .... and besides with test pipes your gonna have some major drone, i had borla exhaust with test pipes was just horrible drone so i think your gonna kinda get it either way

but good luck your idea might work...
