Re: Thinking about Lambo doors.
I also like the lambo door look and don't think it looks bad on our cars.
I would keep saving for the FI mod you want. If you're worried about turbos blowing up then go Vortech. You can get your car warrantied for like 60k miles (someone help me here) through them.
The door kit costs a lot of money and adds quite a bit of weight but it definitely draws looks.

Re: Thinking about Lambo doors.
Looking at the pix, it looks like the Lambo doors make it very hard to get out of. Look at how far the go up....not very far. You will have to look out so you don't knock your head on the roof frame or the door as you're getting out. But when you're contorting and twisting about, it defeats the 'coolness' effect you were going for in the first place.
Use your money to buy an ECU or a supercharger. If you go with FI, make sure you do learn from the others and do it right the first time by changing the internals (stronger con rods, lower compression pistons, etc) so you will not be as high a risk at blowing the motor.

Re: Thinking about Lambo doors.
If you look at G354God's G then the doors are much higher, i think it just looks low because the obvious weight of the door weighs it down. the first picture looks like it's easy to get in and out...i don't care, i'm going to get them right after i sell my bike....

Re: Thinking about Lambo doors.
Thanks for the compliments, YoImACubanB... I appreciate it.
I have no problem answering your questions. The entire body kit ran about $5200 plus tax. It was installed by Quigley's Auto Body in Lake Forest, CA. They also installed my vertical doors... the only problem was that the painting, the install of the doors, and the install of the body kit took a total of almost 3 weeks... they first quoted me 2 weeks, but we ran into some problems with the lambo door conversion. I got my lambo door kit from Vertical Doors, Inc. (and it was about $1300 for just the kit). By the way, even though the vertical door kits claim that it is a complete bolt-on with no modifications needed... they still needed to roll my fenders to make the doors function properly....

Take care...

HomieG35,
Yes, the windows still do their little "up and down thingy" when you open/close the doors...
