Right, because the GTR is 6mt....

For drag racing, yes an auto is better with a turbo set up. Mostly b/c A. on the line you and power brake at line and build boost for a launch. B. you don't loose boost between shifts b/c you keep your foot on the gas and the throttle body doens't shut and send all the boost out the BOV. C. you get more consistent launches and shifting and with a reprogrammed tranny ecu and new valves it'll shift faster and just as hard as a manual.

If you like to drive on road courses or mountain roads then a manual is just way more fun and desirable for holding gears.

PS the lambo's, gtr, veyron and new porsche PDK aren't automatics. They're all some form of DSG...basically a manual tranny where the computer controls the clutch. An auto tranny has a torque converter...

glad someone finally pointed this out. Dual clutches transmissions are nothing like what is found in the G.

Doesn't matter they are still an automatic car with or without the clutchless.

I have driven countless dual clutch/DSG style trannys and they are still auto.
