Tips on where to get key cut/progammed

My G35 only came with one key/remote when I bought it used. I know how to program the keypad from the DIY threads; however, I was looking for tips on where to go to get the key cut and the chip programmed. How much does the dealership charge vs. any regular locksmith (if thats an option)? Thanks.

Any reputable locksmith should be able to cut and program the key for much less than the dealer. If you already have a key you can just take the car and blank key to the locksmith and they can cut and program it for ~$50. Dealer would probably charge ~110 to cut and program it.

here is a site that lists people that specialize as auto locksmiths so you don't get a hack job done and get stuck having to buy another key http://autolocksmithfinder.us/
