hey guys i just needed some help on how much these parts would cost. i have a 07 g35 6spd with 28,000 miles it needs a evap canister, vent control valve, pressure sensor two hoses and clamps. the dealer said it wasnt covered and it was going to run me $900 so i took my car and walked right out. i appreciate the help

 

07 is still fairly new.. what happened?

Unless you did something to make those parts fail on purpose then that it covered under the Factory Bumper to Bumper warranty. I used to work for Infiniti for two years. Definitely covered. I'd find a new dealership. As for the parts being replaced, did your check engine light come on? If so, I'm guessing the code was for "Evap Small Leak". In that case, the evap canister and vent control valve will fix the issue. Generally your hoses do not crack or need to be changed for quite some time unless the technician damages them when removing.

 

Yeah I would have figured that would be covered, unless you did something to damage them. BTW how did this happen???

 

thanks for the help. i did nothing my check engine light came on 1 day n i took it to the shop and they gave me this list. i just bout the car 4 months ago i dont understand how it happend
