Hey you guys, I have been looking for a specific answer that I cant seem to find. I just recently left the subaru world and picked up a 2004 G and I love it! But I would like a little more sound. I was looking at the magnaflow cat backs but I cant find anyone who has it to hear live. Does anyone have any feed back on it? I like the fact that it looks stock and youtube videos doesnt really do justice I'm sure when it comes to sound. (Not looking to be a cop magnet, that mistake was already made in my fully built sti )

I almost picked up this exhaust, but when I heard it in person I decided against it.

 

why is that?

 

I did the research and ended up going with the Invidia G200 exhaust. Still got impressive HP and torque gains and the sound at WOT is earth shattering. The benefit, I felt, with the Invidia exhaust is how quiet the exhaust is when under normal driving conditions. I didn't want any unnecessary attention from police.

Yeah - I took it to my normal performance shop to have the exhaust installed. After bolting it on they put it on the dyno and adjusted the computer to get maximum HP and torque out of it. Didn't take them too long - dropped the car off around 10:00 am and picked it up that afternoon.
