Heated seat light not working

The background illumination on the driver's side heated seat switch is not working anymore. My extended warranty does not cover the repair for this. Does anyone know if this is something I can do myself (I have zero experience doing this)? If not, how much would this typically cost?

I have the same issue. I don't know what the bulb type is for that switch. Its easy to get to though. All you do is take the shifter **** out and pull the whole unit up from where the cupholders are. To take off the shifter **** off, pull the piece all the way at the bottom down. then you will see a pin. Remove the pin and the shifter will be able to pull up easily. Just don't lose the pin! I am sure you can ask the dealership for the bulb and just do it yourself.
