license plate holder

i am sorry to be a really newbie here. But am i supposed to get the license plate holder from the dealership? my license plates came today and the only thing i found that my dealer left me with is the front mount thingie. do all of you buy your own plate holders? (sorry...because my last car gave me those)

Re: license plate holder

are you talking about the license plate frame? If so, usually the dealership gives you there cheapo frame, you can still install your license plate without a frame.

Re: license plate holder

You're lucky, I don't have a front adapter for a front plate, just the two silver ***** that are too wide to fit a front plate on... any body have any idea where I can find adapters?

Thanks

Re: license plate holder

Buy the stillen tow-hook-adapter frame from grubbs online store. Otherwise the dealer is going to drill two holes on your bumper....

Re: license plate holder

i got the front license plate adapter, but if you want the basic one, look in the trunk of your car. thats where mine was when i bought it.... id advise the front license plate adapter to avoid drilling....

If your knees bent the opposite way...what would chairs look like?
