Megan Racing Test Pipes

i want to drop my cats for more unrestricted air flow.. i searched around but not many people seem to be using these... i dont mind a little raspy sound but not so much that people would get annoyed especially on long road trips... i also dont want to throw out a CEL because of these... are there any other test pipes, racing pipes, cat-delete pipes that people would recommend.

i posted a thread on the megan test pipes. I have them, love them, and stand behind em. They are the only one on the market to have flex joints, which is great, because other pipes have been known to crack due to flexing. These are great.

BTW, if you get rasp, it is from an impediance or leak in the exhaust that causes this. A free flowing exhaust with no bottle necks will not rasp. Contrary to popular belief, its usually the bottle neck in y-pipes and stock and/or after market flex joints that are leaking that cause rasp.

I had rasp and when my greddy evo II y-pipe was cut open by a shop, it revealed a 2.25" down to 1.5" bottle neck where the y-pipe meets.

i have megan racing test pipes as well and i love them! I'm running these on stock exhaust and they certainly amplify the stock exhaust note.

i have berk non resonated test pipes. the rasp is between 2500 - 3500 rpm. beyond that it sounds really mean. i got used to the rasp, however, when i first got them, i was very aggravated.
