yeah all depends on what color or look you want with the black, 400 grit will get it all of pretty quickly but just make sure you get it all so its smooth and then depending on what color or finish you want use a couple coats of both primer and whatever color black you want

Have you thought about tinting your tails? I can't decided! They look great on AB, but since CB is a lighter shade, I'm not sure how it is going to turn out.

No i definately think the tails are the one thing that i'm gonna leave alone, if anything i'm just gonna upgrade to the 06-07 tales instead or the jdm ones

Now that I have the bug of doing things to my car. I painted the grill which came out awesome. Only problem is loading the pics on here. Either this coming weekend or next weekend. I will be taking my front and rear taillights off, and I will be taking them apart to paint the insides black. I bought GTR overlays, but I have decided that I will just sell them.

make a photobucket account and post them there, that's what I do, and then down the road all your pics are in a central location

You should get the clear corners. I put them on the car and it really makes it look better. I also put some VLEDs in them and it looks 100x better. Amber just doesn't go with the paint.

i thought satin black WAS matte black? lol

edit:

Matte is another name for flat, no sheen.
Satin has some sheen to it, slightly reflective.

haha so basically satin is like a normal black with a glossy look so pretty much like the stock oem

i don't think it would really look good

after further reading, the clear coat makes all the difference in the world. Flat black with a satin clear = satin black, flat black with a flat clear = flat black

If you choose not to clear coat, why??? :P
