Makes your shifts faster, basically instant. It's cheap to buy, but expensive to install if you can't DIY.

I've seen it around alot from online retailers, but I think the cheapest is from Summit.

Fast Intentions hi-flo cats should round it up nicely. Even with my full-catback I still felt a huge improvement. Post pics now.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Nice job, but being in San Antonio get ready for a power loss this summer because of the pop charger. It sucks in the hot air from your engine bay because it isn't properly sealed. The effect is called heatsoak. I live in Austin and put a pop on my car last summer and took it off and sold it w/in 3 weeks.

Does look and sound good though!

Get a HR y-pipe. Should help the exhaust breath more and its about $90bucks.

With the exception of the pop-charger you've made all the "right" mods thus far. When you start changing the exhaust system you need to remove the restriction to enhance the spacer and intake. By getting a dual exhaust like HKS and Berk's HFC's you'll accomplish this and still keep it legal....in Texas. The Trans Go kit sounds like a great mod, kit isn't expensive but I've heard that a good trans shop charges big $ for install. I wouldn't want to mess with the iner working of a AT....

Sounds awesome at WOT!! Might go with the stillen intake box...or what other intake do you suggest? The transgo kit...haven't looked online at it yet but how is the install if I do it myself? Have to mess with the tranny or how do you install it? Guess have to look at it first. Exhaust thinking about berks HFCs and motordyne tdx. Next week or two I will probably be ordering an exhaust

Do exhausts make that much of a difference in performance? I am looking to add some minor performance mods on the G as well. I currently have a Z-tube with Stillen cold air box. I am buying the MD 5/16 copper iso spacer in the next two weeks. Would the intake along with the MD spacer provide a little bit more response to the car or will I need an exhaust as well? And whats the purpose of getting the Stillen ground kit? I am a noob at the performance mod aspect of the G35. Thanks team work for starting this thread. Thanks to everyone else for providing input.

Exhaust add some hp and tq and reduce weight. Depends what exhaust it is. The motordyne seems to have the best of everything as far as I can tell that's why I think I'm going to go with that one. HFCs/test pipes also will add some hp. Added with spacer and intake should make good gains. I feel a difference with the stuff I added...maybe not extreme but it seems like a nice little pick up in power...WOT and higher RPMs seems where most the gain is. Grounding kit is good for autos like me. Shifts smoother then without and adding more/better ground keeps from losing power. More experienced members might want to comment or correct me if anything is wrong. This is where I have gotten all my help from!!
