Rev-Up Airbox

Anyone tried one of these on a non Rev Up motor? I'm wondering if this plus a drop-in filter would really give the equivalent sound and power of a Cold Air Intake.

Don't know about the sound, but you won't lose any power like you do with some cold air intakes.

I am interested in this product also. Anybody here know about this? I don't want to alter the stock G35 sound, I love the stock sound, I would just look to add a few more ponies to my engine.

If anyone in Socal is interested in this plus a custom mod that I offer to increase more HP than any other intake..PM me.

If you are outside Socal, dont bother because I have to modify your car to make this intake work.

You're kidding right? This is one of the most talked about topics in relation to intakes. You've got to read through this forum more before you make silly comments like this. I think with over 23,000 posts Jeff probably knows what he's talking about here.

You guys need to chill out a little. You could have answered my question using fewer words than it took you to make your smart... comments.

I must have missed the part in the forum rules that said all members must respond to every post. You guys are just wonderful.

I'm not new to "car" type forums - been doing this for at least seven years.
Anyway, people's opinions and experiences with their cars change constantly so a thread from two years ago may literally be obsolete. Someone may have just run a dyno test on several CAIs that are fairly new to the market...that info could be enlightening to us all. Or you could just say "that's already been covered, do a search".
BTW, there's a very interesting thread that was started just a few days ago called "Best HP Increase Mod" and I KNOW that this subject has been covered extensively already. But I did not see any whining about "search function".
The guy with 25,000 posts probably knows these cars as well as anyone and I am on this forum to get knowledge from him. So if I follow your logic I will never get a new response from him cause he's already done it all! He must be bored to death with newbies.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
This post ^ makes no sense. If you've been around forums for a while you should know to search for answers. Your original question was 'has anyone done this mod', not 'how did you like it'. The answer to your question is not subjective to change from one member to another or relevant to any sort of time frame. The answer is a simple yes or no. And if you want to learn from Jeff and his wisdom, why was your response "How can U B so sure?" We're glad you joined to learn more about your car. This is the most informative site on the Web for G35's, but grow up a little and take what comes your way like a man. We're more than happy to help members that join the family who put in an equal amount of effort on their own. Starting off with a pissy attitude is not the way to endear yourself to us.

Jeff's original response was"AHAHA. I'm POSITIVE they have." I responded to that with "how can you be so sure?". He later edited his original response to include
" Huge discussion on it. intake section". His next post was telling me to search. Sort of redundant. But I don't have any problems with him. He was very polite. You, on the other hand... Take it like a man.
