Guy is trying to sell me a 2003 Black on Black, coupe, 6MT, Brembo, Greddy exhaust, Injen intake, B&M short shifter, and Aftermarket navi, 68k miles, for $9k

The catch is it has a Salvage Title it was damaged on the front fender and driver door, (repair work was decent) but was repaired stock rim has rash there a tiny dent in rear corner panel and a tiny tear in driver seat, air bag light is on, has scratches here in there... Its not mint, but it not bad. a lil rough... WORTH IT? or NOT?

I hate the front billet after market grill it has, and hate the after market Navi I would perfer stock.

 

I stopped reading at "decent repair work".

It's not worth it. Save up some more, or buy yourself a cheaper car you can afford.

 

When I say decent repair work... I mean you can tell the paint difference, as well as I'm picky... I want another G cause I've had 2 in the past both coupes 6MT brembo navi one was red and the other was grey now I want a black one and want to pay cash cause I'm tired of payments...

 

dont buy anything with a salvage title.

 

Airbag light would concern me. If you need new ones they are hella expensive. I agree with others who said look around.

 

Pass on this '03, there's G35s in mint condition ya just gotta find them....

That car may seem tempting now, but it's going to turn into a money pit in the future. No wonder he's trying to unload it for cheap. Some poor sucker is going to fall into that trap and I suggest it not be yourself.

 

Just hang in there, its worth it to take the extra time now and fine a quality ride.

 

i got a black on black 2004 6mt with 55 on the clock for 10k, with a clean history........ there out there, you just be patient and look around

 

g35driver where did you find one like that for 10k?

 

i got it at a somewhat local car auction. not many people wanted it because the paint had some issues, and it was rolling on some rusty 17 inch 350z wheels..... both problems were fixed by a paintjob by a friend that works at a paintshop and some 19 rays (with brand new rear tires) i picked up from a guy on craigslist for 550$
