mods

Whats up everybody? I bought my 06' coupe Athens Blue 5at off the showroom floor. I love this car and have kept it stock. Only has 24,000 miles so far. But I'm too used to its speed and need too make it faster without going FI.
I've searched this forum for quite a few months to see what mods would be right. Let me know what u guys think.

Engine:
1. Plenum spacer 5/16
2. C.A.I
3. Transgo

Exhaust:
1. HFC's or true duel exhaust whichever brings greater HP or both

Suspension:
1. coilovers (not sure which ones) to drop car

Wheels:
1. 18's to 19's all black
2. wheel spacers 20mm(front) 25mm(rear)

Cosmetics:
1. clear corners
2. black grille

with these particular mods would I need to reflash the ECU?
What kind of hp would i gain from the engine and exhaust mods?
how much would this run me? and is the price worth the hp gain?

And finally if some knows a reputable place in Westchester county NY who works on our cars in particular.

Thanks
Charlie

I don't have answers for all of those questions, but I can tell you that it being "worth" the money is completely up to you. If I had an extra $10,000 I would like to go FI, and it would be worth it no matter what anyone thinks. The car will be faster, but it will have issues like any naturally aspirated car will after going FI. If you can live with that and may have other means of transportation...do it. Good luck.

You should narrow down your questions a little bit.

You havn't mentioned your budget for this little shopping spree. That would help...........

How much faster would you like to be? NA mods won't knock more than a couple tenths of a second off your 1/4 mile.

Trust me...

If you want your car to be noticeably faster, your best option is to go FI.

An aggressive set of cams along with breathing mods and a tune should give you a good gain while N/A. This will be costly as well.
