Help: Mid life crisis
I say go for the 35. Heck, I just turned 40, and I got an '03 6MT coupe a month and a half ago. For a third of the price of a 37, the early model 35's give great performance and look just like the 2007 models (except for small details, of course.) That way you can be smart AND sporty!
There were a ton of redesigned/revised amenities that showed up in 2005, so don't bother with anything older than that. I almost bit in 2004 but stuck it out another year till the 05s came out and I'm so much happier for it.
There are TONS of low mileage coupes out there, although some colors like the twilight blue and serengeti sand are few and far between. Youll love your new coupe!

Thanks guys I agree wiuth most of you regarding body style I seem more partial to the 06/07 than the 08 and plus the inside I can live with and as far as the motor goes is the torque that much different, I know there are more ponies but I like the older body style better, not to mention price wise.. I'm in Montreal and its a daily driver, how doe she go in the snow with 4 good winter tires on. When I bought my car there were not many on the road, now they are all over the place but the coupe is rare in this neck of the woods..

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

The G is actually quite capable in the snow with snow tires. The smaller the wheel, the better the snow navigation. A lot of members here run 17" wheels in the winter and switch to their 18-19" set ups in the summer.
I don't think getting to a point in your life where you can afford something you always wanted or that resembles what you had earlier in life is a mid-life crisis.
(couple years shy of 50 here....)
Will let you know about snow this winter...went from Yoko S-Drives to Conti Extreme Contact DWS recently
Twilight Blue 04 Coupe.

Agreed, just means you're all grown up and can have what you want instead of what you need.
Don't forget the projector headlights on the 06+ coupes.
Couldn't deal with the cheap-looking (IMO) interior of the 03-04, and that was the determining factor for me over an 05.
