New automatic shift boot?

i am wanting to get an automatic shift boot for my G from locksmith but i am having trouble getting my center console off without cracking or breaking something in the process. can anyone that knows how to do so please help out and walk me thru how to do so thanks

the center console you just pop off...should just pop straight up and then you un-clip the harnesses from below..make sure the OEM SHift **** is taken off.

ok yea center console as in by the arm rest or center console as in by radio cover and all that? sorry for the stupid question and also how does the automatic shift **** come off?

pull silver cover down form the shift ****, pull gold snap clip forward, lift **** off. then for center console, you open the leather arm rest, grab on each side of the console(cupholder area) and lift up. youll see where to pull when looking at it. right where the two halves meet.

changing the boots or **** is kind of tirng for me first time..afterward its really easy..(for a 6MT
