Got a budget of about $30 to work with. What to do? Well go to Joanne Fabrics and buy your favorite cloth and start wrapping some pieces. A pillars came first. Arm rest came second. It's insane how easy it is to take the leather off the arm rest...however I learned the hard way that the whole assembly is not meant to be taken apart. In fact, the plastic tabs one piece. Solution to this is probably get some self tapping screws and run them through the plastic and anchor them down.

I ran into some issues re-assembling the arm rest, the locking mechanism won't lock. Unfortunately I broke it in the process of dis-assembling everything. Worst case scenario is buy a new arm rest on eBay for $80-$90

If people are interested I'll be happy to do a DIY on this. If not oh well. The last time I remotely hinted at posting a DIY or pictures of my progress I got flamed. Seems some people can't appreciate hard work.

Let me know what you think.
^ I am always interested in seeing something new. Any pics?

Thanks. I've actually been doing small changes here and there to the car on my days off (haha that's a joke).

Here are some picture of what I've done so far. It ain't much for it's better than nothing. Apparently I'm the ONLY person running a fiberglass gauge pod with 5 gauges. It took me about 5 months to build it up from scratch and there was A LOT of trial and error in the process. Let me just say I'm never doing that again. It's a one off lol. But the interior is coming together.

Next step is the headliner.

Nah, that was prior to the wrapping, but I did take down the other ones so people don't get confused. Overall I think it's a good start. Right now trying to see what else can be wrapped. Don't want to go overboard.
