Black vinyl/fabric wrap for interior?

Anyone know where I can get a material similar to the Neffy CF or 3M di-noc wrap, but in black (not black CF, purely black)?

I'm not a big fan of CF, and I want to wrap my center console in a black fabric/vinyl. Thanks

that sounds like it would look amazing, i wanted to do that with leather before but its pretty expensive. i wonder how hard install would be?

I'm also interested in a material like this. it would be sick to do the plastic around the gauge cluster as well.

Any idea where I can purchase those?

I'm liking PS-504:

Also, I was looking at this: http://www.yourautotrim.com/allsportblack.html
- I don't know if this is the right material, if it will stretch and conform well enough

I didn't know there was a stock black center console and shiz. I mean, I'm gonna wrap mine in Di-Noc anyways, but still.

Hah yeah, when I was looking for G35s, some had it, and I preferred it, but silver = premium wheel/tire package (the pic I posted doesn't do it justice, looks much better in person).

Do you know where I could actually purchase those other 3M di-nocs? Most sites only sell the CF di-noc.

That black interior does look better than the stock silver look. Might look into doing this.

Got the samples yesterday. Some of them look really nice.

However, they seem a little thick, so I'm not sure how well they'll wrap around the console.

I'm trying to see if someone here will send me a small 3M di-noc sample so I can compare.

EDIT: NVM, these are way too thick. Di-noc is 0.008", while these are about 0.040" - almost 5x thick

Reviving an old thread from the dead, figured I'd let you know I decided to tackle some aesthetics on the G since there's nothing performance wise I can do at the moment. Got a budget of about $30 to work with. What to do? Well go to Joanne Fabrics and buy your favorite cloth and start wrapping some pieces. A pillars came first. Arm rest came second. It's insane how easy it is to take the leather off the arm rest...however I learned the hard way that the whole assembly is not meant to be taken apart. In fact, the plastic tabs one piece. Solution to this is probably get some self tapping screws and run them through the plastic and anchor them down.

I ran into some issues re-assembling the arm rest, the locking mechanism won't lock. Unfortunately I broke it in the process of dis-assembling everything. Worst case scenario is buy a new arm rest on eBay for $80-$90

If people are interested I'll be happy to do a DIY on this. If not oh well. The last time I remotely hinted at posting a DIY or pictures of my progress I got flamed. Seems some people can't appreciate hard work.

Let me know what you think.
