Any idea where I can purchase those?
I'm liking PS-504:
Also, I was looking at this: http://www.yourautotrim.com/allsportblack.html
- I don't know if this is the right material, if it will stretch and conform well enough

Got the samples yesterday. Some of them look really nice.
However, they seem a little thick, so I'm not sure how well they'll wrap around the console.
I'm trying to see if someone here will send me a small 3M di-noc sample so I can compare.
EDIT: NVM, these are way too thick. Di-noc is 0.008", while these are about 0.040" - almost 5x thick

Reviving an old thread from the dead, figured I'd let you know I decided to tackle some aesthetics on the G since there's nothing performance wise I can do at the moment. Got a budget of about $30 to work with. What to do? Well go to Joanne Fabrics and buy your favorite cloth and start wrapping some pieces. A pillars came first. Arm rest came second. It's insane how easy it is to take the leather off the arm rest...however I learned the hard way that the whole assembly is not meant to be taken apart. In fact, the plastic tabs one piece. Solution to this is probably get some self tapping screws and run them through the plastic and anchor them down.
I ran into some issues re-assembling the arm rest, the locking mechanism won't lock. Unfortunately I broke it in the process of dis-assembling everything. Worst case scenario is buy a new arm rest on eBay for $80-$90
If people are interested I'll be happy to do a DIY on this. If not oh well. The last time I remotely hinted at posting a DIY or pictures of my progress I got flamed. Seems some people can't appreciate hard work.
Let me know what you think.
