zip tie in headlight (pic included)

Ok, so I replaced my 06 projector foglights (3k lights) the other day, but when I turned it on, it acted as if it was my highbeams (it was higher than my regular headlights)... so I went to check why it was off.

The reason why it was so off is because the bulb wasn't tightly secured. You guys are probably thinking that the metal clip to hold it in place wasn't properly put back... but it was. For some reason it's n ot holding down the bulb enough, but it's secure because I can't take out the bulb without taking off the clip.

So now the real question is... can I have a zip tie in there to hold it more securely in place? or is there another solution. Reason I am asking is because I don't want that zip tie to cause a fire or something.

Here's a picture.
