My 04 plans.
My 04 plans.
Well I was trying to wait until I payed it off but seeing as my ride will be payed off by august I am starting to look into mods. I have an 04 coupe Twilight blue on brembos completely stock.
I have a few things in mind, let me know what you guys think.
1) Tint
2) I want to lower it I'm thinking 1.5inches but I am still looking into it
I plan on keeping my stock wheels.
3) Clear corners
4) debadging, My only concern with debadging is i really don't want to mess up the paint by doing it but I am sure if I look around the boards I can find a How to or something.
5) I would also really like to get my grill flat black. I need to look into that a bit more also.
As for performance I really dont have too much in mind. I am really torn with NA/Turbo so I am still going to wait on that. Any suggestions on anything?

1. Yes.
2. That's.. really low.
3. Yes, get black, not silver
4. Yes. low gauge fishing line and goof-off. Done and done. Only thing you're going to need to worry about is color fade under the badges, but some buff/polish/wax usually solves the problem.

itll cost you a million dollars to get a naturally aspirated vq35 to be a very fast car..single turbo............wev though..rods sleeves stroked crank heads pistons rings and whatnot... build thefrom the bottom end up man!!
I wouldn't turbo a daily driver. Especially when it isn't turbo'd from factory. Sure it'll be fun, but the majority of cars with aftermarket turbos stinks, run's rich, and is leaking something. Which is why a lot of people either go back to stock or SELL their Turbo G's.
It's going to run you at least 10k to turbo your G correctly. (Turbo kit, tuning, dyno, misc parts, etc etc).'
You will 1st turbo your G with stock internal running 7lb of boost. Eventually you'll get board and want to increase the boost. So, next move would be to pull the motor out, upgrade pistons, rings, and that will cost you a few more grand. Probably need new injectors, upgraded fuel pump, and engine management system such as Greddy or AEM.. Or whatever. That management system alone is $300-1500.

I put Tanabe DF210s on my G. The drop is 1.7 in the front, 1.3 in the rear. So basically a 1.5" drop. I had 19s with 25mm spacers. I scrape, yeah. But there's still room to go lower. You just ideally want coilovers to go any lower than that.
