Unable to remove emblem sticky outline
Nothing is working
Guys, Thanks for all the replies, I have tried eveything suggested so far and still nothing. Of course i have a few scratches now that I will have to fix. I talked to a detail shop that says they will charge me $50 Bucks to remove. I am stubborn and wish not to wait until Thursday, does anyone have any other ideas? Not even tho Goof off worked.
The residue is not going to come off easily. I went through about half of a can of Goof Off and had to scrub very hard with a terry cloth. Practically wore through sections of the cloth and both of my arms were dead afterwards. If you put the effort in, you can get it off.
I feel like an Idiot but There is a reason why none of this worked, apperantly the badges were removed by the previous owner and when reinstalled they used some glue that ate through a few layers of paint. No I am not blind, you can only tell if you look REAAAALLY close or with magnifying glass. Finally after almost a year, I get the lower part of the truck lid repainted on Tuesday.

....his emblems were reinstalled with glue he had to have the deck lid repainted cause the glue ate thru the paint. Nothing any of you have posted would have worked under these circumstances, get it? What the....
