That's terrible to hear and I feel your hurt, I had a hater keying my Volks but that's not half what you suffered. I also had someone hit & run after backing over my front bumper in a Target parking lot. Your insurance should cover you're getting a new paint job due to vandalism. Make sure you take it to a reliable shop where they do perfect work! Sorry....

Had the same thing happen to me also. Make a claim with your insurance. Pay your deductible and take it to reputable shop.
An alarm with tilt and shock sensors would be a great investment now.

Whats your insurance deductible? Ours have nothing to do with yours. Usually it's $500 / $1000. Call your insurance and ask them. If you can afford at the time to pay the deductible then make the claim. If not you can still make the claim and let them know you wont be taking the car to fix until you have the deductible. Call them. They can point you in the right direction

Sorry to hear about this.

I usually try to be inconspicuous by parking on the farther end of the parking lot, but not sure if that ever helps. When the haters hate, they'll hit; then they'll get hit back twice as hard.

My rims weren't keyed. Every panel but the left rear quarter received some hate.

Pretty easy to say but I unless you camp out near your car it can happen. Just gotta hope to catch them when they're in the process

OP call your insurance

Here's the wonderful job some ******* did to my car last summer. They also offered a side of slashed tires.

I usually park in an isolated corner of a parking lot to avoid dumb people swinging their doors into my car, or even dumber people hitting it while pulling in/out of a parking space. However that makes an easy target for *******s to vandalize the car because it's easy to spot... Can't have anything nice in this world without some douchebag fvcking it up for you.

Anyway, I had to pay a $500 deductible and the estimate for the body damage was average $1800 across 3 shops. It'll probably be more since you got tagged on both sides, but that shouldn't matter because it's your insurance company that's paying

Every cloud has a silver lining, and that's pretty much true for this case. Since you'll have to get the entire car painted, this would be a perfect opportunity to buy that new bodykit or maybe even a new custom color or something. The insurance won't pay for that, but it will be cheaper to do it now because all you're already paying for the paint job reguardless of whether it's the factory part or the aftermarket (depending on where you need the work done that is). Some bodyshops might even throw in a free deal to paint some small things here and there while they're fixing up your car; I believe my friend managed to wiggle that in when he had something happen to his car (new trunk, hood, front bumper)

It still really sucks to see this happen. I really am disgusted at people who would go through the effort to do this to someone else's hard work and pride. A lot of us take a lot of time out of our lives to make our cars one-of-a-kind really expensive toy, and to see it get trashed by some jealous ******* is . The person at my bodyshop made me feel a little better by saying "at the end of the day, all it is is some metal and plastic which can be fixed with a little time and hard work." Good luck!

That really sucks man. I hate these ***gots that want to ruin our cars out of jealousy or something. I had some pieces of **** egg my car a few months back and that was a hell session getting all the little pieces of shell and goo out of the tight spots.
