Re: Photoshoot at the beach (56k - watch your nuts
are you getting dpe's?
i waiting for 3 1/2 months.. however i am the first 20" forging that DPE had done, and they didn't know the offsets and I was lagging on my choice of finish for awhile. my wait is definitely understandable, besides the quality/fit/finish is perfect. with exception to the rear center caps.. ha.
they test fitted them on a 350z, and they fit absolutely perfect; apparently something is different from the coupe to the z and they didn't know that. i just haven't had the time to shave down the back of the center caps to make them fit. they offered to make me a custom set, but it's not that big of a deal if i can just shave them. i will attach a pic of the wheel on a 350z with cap fitting.

Damn... that thing is gorgeous. The suede is an awesome idea for anyone with the graphite interior (stupid that they left the willow roof). I will certainly be having that done in the near future. BEAUTIFUL RIDE!

Yup....gettin some DPE's! I guess thats why they asked if I wanted to switch to a R07s. They told me about 4 weeks ago that they didnt have the forgings for the style that I wanted....just some other ones. R07s was one of em. Im gonna give them a call today and see whats up. Hopefully they wont tell me another two weeks before they even get the new forgings in!

Usually I don't post when everyone else has already said what I want to say, but this is one case where an exception should be made.
The wheels look great and the interior is gorgeous.
Best of luck during this extra-heavy hurricane season.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.. it's one thing to be happy with the car you are building and its a whole other thing to have people enjoy your same tastes.
The entire purpose of the suede was to get rid of the willow upper, and there was no way that I was going to wrap it in vinyl/leather/carpet simply because I didn't think it would have ever looked right. Plus it's fun to write stuff in the suede.
I can't wait to see some more coupes on DPE's, I can't say enough good things about them. It may take awhile to get your wheels, but they are right up there with HRE and iForged without a doubt in my mind.

Looks damn good. I agree with someone above that the "drive by" shot is my fav. Planning to change the dash also?

I had really thought about doing it, and still am unsure.. Luckily it will cost me next to nothing and only take about a week, but it's just tackling the task of pulling the dash out of a brand new car and then trying to put it back in. I think it would look great, but just don't know if I am ready to do that one yet..

amazing car, im really feeling the wheels and the suede...do u have a website i can check out for the wheels...im very interested in a set...as for pulling your dash, all i can say is be very very carful and label EVERYTHING...i pulled the dash out on my truck and i couldnt believe how much of a pain in the *** it was...i couldnt imagine doing it to a more complicated dash such as the G..good luck and keep us posted!
