Swapping Headlights - NEED HELP ASAP

Hello all,

I finally got around to installing my projectors I bought last month. Now I have one issue: how do I remove the ballast from my 2003 to affix it on the '06+ projectors? I removed the ballast itself, but there's wiring wrapped in heatshielded-tubing, and idk how to deal with that. I have the ballast removed, but I don't see anything I could plug it into on the '06+.

Sorry for the ultra newb question, but I did a quick search which didn't yield anything and half of the front end of my car is disassembled and sitting on the driveway.

Thanks in advance.

theres a brown plug in the 06 hl that is prob tucked up in the ballast hole..reach around in there and pull the plug wire out a bit..then plug in your ballast to the new hl..make sure u also have the rubber ring that goes around the ballast or youll get moisture in ur new hl.

Ah, got it, thanks. I had to 'fish' the wire into the lower headlight where the ballast is.
