Unhappy Just dropped off my 2006 G35 coupe at Woodchester Collision

It was like a stab thru the heart when I heard the scratching sound.

After 4 years of babying my red 2006 G35 6MT coupe, human error finally got in the way. A few days ago I messed up my rear-quarter panel on the passenger side while entering into an awkward underground parking spot. (It scraped against a cement pillar see attached pics)

After doing research on bodyshops in Toronto, I decided on Woodchester Collision in Mississauga. I wanted people who were well recommended and have lots of experience with G35s.

I met with Graham today who was warm and welcoming and he provided me with a reasonable estimate. From all appearances the place is well-run and I am eager to see the results in 4 days.

I will post pics of the body work and the cost when it is complete.

And I thought it was bad when I nicked the curb and got some rash on my rims...

Happens to the best of us but it's good that your car is in good hands!

I know that place. They do good work, but something like that will always be noticeable, especially LR, since it's a hard color to match. My car has a color match issue with the rear bumper.

lol, yeah my biggest pet peeve before was curb rash, not anymore! I just keep reminding myself that a car is just a hunk of metal, a car is just a hunk of metal, a car is just a hunk of metal...

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
My only question is why have you had your G for 4 years and you just now joined us? Remember, a car is just a hunk of metal, a car is just a hunk of metal, a car is just a hunk of metal.

Good question , i've lurked on the board once in a while, and searching these threads helped me decide to take my G to Woodchester.

So I thought I would finally join and post my experience as a documentary for people in my situation in the future.

I guess the real reason is that the internet has grown so much, so many boards, so little time.

EEEEEE.

I did something similar when I was leaving a lawyer's office in an underground parking lot. Really tight turn and I scraped against a wall. So painful.........

Red in general is very hard to match up correctly.

Graham just sent me pics of my G35 in primer, it appears the work is moving along nicely.

I'm going to spend an afternoon handwashing and detailing her when this ordeal is all over. She must be so scared and frightened all alone in that big bodyshop, wondering where her daddy is

I dropped off my DG coupe at woodchester collision on the past Saturday. Don't worry 2006redG35coupe, your G isn't alone in that body shop I'm having my Nismo front bumper repainted.

I've been a previous customer at woodchester collision, but this is my first time dealing with Graham. By the consultation I had with Graham, I can tell he is an enthusiast just like most people on this board, and he is indeed a heartwarming gentleman. He's got a clean black 300ZX

Graham remembered each of my concerns down to detail. I'm confident that our coupes are in good hands.
