Tuning Benefit To Stock Coupe?

Is there a benefit to having my 05 stock 6MT proffesionally tuned? I did grab an intake, just not here yet. Anybody know where to get my baby tuned in orlando.

if you just have a intake then no use of tuning.. tuning is good if you have engine mods, exhaust and etc..

Even tuning a stock vehicle should net you some extra horsepower. The place where I've always gotten my tunes done (when I had my Subaru) tuned a stock Evo and gained something like 16hp to the wheels.

Edited for spelling. :P

stock tune is more conservative (in case of bad gas/low octane) so ususally a tune can grab a few hp (you will most likely have to run premium, in case you dont already..)
i have multiple mods, and when i finally got it tuned i picked up 25hp. if you plan on doing any other mods, i would do them all first and then tune it

Excellent advice. At least get your air flow done, which includes intake, headers, and full exhaust.
