G35 Automatic Transmission HP Power Rating??

How much HP can the automatic transmission handle HP/Power wise?

I wouldn't risk pushing the stock 5AT too much. I'm assuming your FI or will be shortly, the valve body upgrade is a must. I know someone who is pushing over 300whp with a stock tranny but don't know how long that will last.

Yeah if your going FI with AT alot of work needs to done in the tranny to get that power to the back wheels and to the ground, where you want it!

With a VB upgrade you're good to ~400 WHP try to keep it under though! I had my Vortech at 387whp all day with no issues. Also supercharge only NO turbo.

general consensus is with a VB upgrade and big tranny cooler you should be fine up to 400 ft-lbs of torque.
