Radio gets staticy when lights are on.
So recently I've noticed my radio signal is absolutely terrible randomly, and just the other day I realized it had to do with whether or not my lights are on.
The lights being on just causes the radio signal to degrade by a consistent amount. So if the signal is solid to begin with, it'll degrade to a little bit staticy, but if the radio singal is pretty sketchy to begin with (like I'm on the wrong side of a hill and it's kind of weak so you hear some static) and I turn the lights on then it pretty much completely dies.
It has nothing to do with what mode I'm in, if I'm on Auto lights (which I usually am) and the lights turn on automatically the signal craps out just the same as if I manually turn the lights on.
However, in CD mode lights on or off the speakers work perfectly clear and crisp.
I do have metallic tint which I know can hurt radio signal, but I don't think this has anything to do with lights on or off (FYI my brother had the tint put on when he owned the car, I definitely would have gotten non-metallic tint).
I do have LED Map, door, backup, clearance strips, and parking lights if it matters.

Either radio to car, or lights to car. Though if it was the lights, the HID's would flicker, so probably radio to ground.
