Hello everyone Im happy to inform everyone that I became the new owner of a 2006 G35 6mt LR fully loaded back in march, and I can say that im very pleased with my purchase. I paid 20k and it had 55k on the od. I know I think I got ripped a little. Well it now has a strange rattle coming from the front of the car that drives me crazy. It doesnt really do it very loud when its day time and its not hot just it gets louder when the ac is on, or when you are putting stress on it such as giving it gas coming up a entrance ramp when the revs are low, and when u turn the headlights on As soon as you turn them off it quiets down some. Could it be the bearings in the alternator. Anyways its close to 60k now and im about to change the air filter and spark plugs. Hopefully I wont see no oil in the spark plugs from the valve covers that I have read about. I was worried enough when I read about the oil consumption but I am glad to inform you guys that it does eat sum oil over the course of a 1000 miles but its still 3/4 or more full which is nomal I belive. Sorry 4 the rambling but just a few questions I have had in my mind lately! Thanks for the help.

P.S I thought about doing sum light mods what are usually the simple bolt ons I could do when I go to do the k&n filter and spark plugs. Not interested with doing exhaust work cuz I love that stock sound!!!

welcome and at least you don't get bogged down like when you turn the A/C on in an RSX

 

take it your local mechanic then ask them what cause it, and its free.

 

had a rattling noise on my 6mt 350z. turned out to be the throw out bearing.
