New to the G35, have some questions

I did a fair amount of searching and figured out most of what I wanted to know, but I have a few remaining questions about the car and the track.

I bought a 2006 G35 MT 2 weeks ago, all the bells and whistles except the nav, 19" performance tires, and no spoiler. My question is, will the tires (these are not aftermarket) hold up well enough on the track or do I need to get ones with reinforced sidewalls? Other question is that I have never gone to the track before...are there any recommendations about how to start off right? I live in Michigan and go to College in Daytona Beach FL and I want to just have a little fun on the track and learn how to handle my car well.

oh ur prolly fine man. if it was a cheap set of tires id say do something but just don't launch too high and ull be fine. you could even let some pounds of air out of the back tires just so they will catch a little better
