Lower door trim

well, Stupid me.. I was buffing my car today and did not realize that the trim that runs along the bottom of the door is painted rubber. So I burnt threw the paint in a 2" section. Does anyone know if that piece is replaceable and where I could buy a new one? Its a silver 2006 cpe. I checked ebay and did a search on here with no luck. Thanks.

Your link didnt send me to what you are saying, but after rutting threw the site I think it might be the "lower seal" under exterior door trim. Can anyone confirm this? It does give a paint color option, unfortunatly theres no photos of the piece on the site.

that sites has it for $65 plus shipping. Seems reasonable, is this the best place to get it from? How does it attach to the door? Thanks for the help guys!

How bout a little common sense, with only 2" of paint removed why not carefully touch it up with Touch Up paint from the dealership. You'll never see it and that's way cheaper than replacing the whole strip, don't cha think?

old thread, but i agree with ya. touch up is your friend, especially so low on the vehicle.
i actually have a whole chunk missing from mine... wondering if my fiberglass skills can repair and save the seventy bucks...

Just remove it and throw it right in the trash.

Quite a few people rock without it. Not really a way to fix it.

removal

aight i just removed mine. playing with cleaning up the contact area where the door trim seal brushed against my door for all these years... almost thinking it looks better on the car. follows the bottom lines better... but we will see. especially once i put a set of skirts on there.
