It doesnt technically ruin the paint. More like it causes it to fade.

I park my car 50 feet underground through many layers of reinforced steel and concrete. I pull up into the driveway. Then the ground opens underneath and lowers my car down into the depths.

When my car get down there. It isn't just any garage. The car gets cleaned with state of the art car washing equipment that no other car wash in the world has ever seen where all contaminents are removed without the coat of paint being touched at all. It then gets put into one of those special transparent chambers where all foriegn particals are filtered out and everything is regulated to ensure that my car stays pristine and perfect until the end of time.

On the side note...

If you're really worried about the sun damaging the paint.. then invest in one of those car covers. The sun causes the paint to fade, but that is not until over many years. The original factory paint is supposed to last the life of the car.

Which, if everything goes the way the engineers planned, should be just after the extended warranty is up!

If you properly protect the paint with wax/sealants and keep up with maintenance of the exterior. your car will look great for years even if it spends it's entire life in the sun.

And Infiniti/Nissan's paint sucks. It swirls up so easily. No matter how careful you are, no matter what, it'll still swirl/scratch up...

I can understand having a heated garage, but isn't A/C in the garage a bit overkill?

........This guy belongs to the same cult that Tom Cruise supports, the world of science fiction! If you take really good care of your G with high $$ wax and keep it garaged along with using a car cover when it's left outside for any length of time the painted surface will last a long time. Definitely not until the end of time or forever, whenever that is? LOL

garage FTMFW

my car has only spent like 2 nights out of the garage since Ive owned it(out of town trips)

I dont think I could live without a garage, the fiancee and I are moving one last time before moving to Cali and buying a house... the only thing I looked for was a huge garage. So we found a duplex with a 2.5 stall, extra deep. Our current garage is only 2 stalls and its a pain cuz its not wide enuf
