Well after debating it for the past month or so & finding out that the 05's aren't getting Brembos I finally did it. I'm eating $8k but I think it's worth it ...now I'll have a MT, Nav & the Brembos. Fortunatley I only had 5k miles on the G so I got a good trade in $. I sign the paper work tonite.

DAMM i hate you, i went to trade in my 03.5 sedan auto for a 04 coupe, 6spd, nav everything! I thought i would be eating like 5-6k with next downpayment, when the guys came back after saying "OMG thats a sick car,what do you have done to it? Looks sick" and it got appraised at 22k$ and my car after a year is pretty much spotless and brand new! I was so pissed i couldnt go through with this deal, i posted a whole thing on the sedan forum if you wanna check it out, i dont want to ruin your thread but good choice, if you have the money do it! If you dont still do it haha! I drive my friends new coupe everyday and im in love with it, dammit They wanted 7k between they're buyout and my lease buyout which was 22k-29 so thats 7k, plus 6k downpayments = MAD money!!

Lucky bastard! I'm going in in the next few weeks to do the same thing. If the hit is under 10k, I'm really going to think about doing it. I have 19k miles though =(

 

wait for the 05's.....brembo or not....you're getting all the improvements..and if u really want big brakes..spend the grand and get them aftermarket....you're losing the money on the trade in as it is..might as wellwait for the 18 horsies...19's power recline...tilt telescope wheel etc.

Aftermarket brake kits are a lot more than just 1k. Well, if you want good ones anyways. Brembo 14" F50 Big Brake Kits go for around 6k for a set of four.

You can't base depreciation value on a dealer tradein quote. They're in the business to make money, obivously, but when it comes to tradein's, they're all pirates. Don't expect anywhere _near_ the real value of the car.

The 18 HP is no biggie for me as well as the 19's since I already have the 18" RGR's. Infiniti is swapping the springs & wheels Mon. so all I have to do is swap the HID's, fogs & Ztube / K&N & I'll be back to non-stock in a few days.
