I'm selling my car so I removed my Viper 5901 alarm and now my factory keyfob will not work. I tried using a known good keyfob and that won't work either. I tried the reprogramming process and after the flashers blink twice and I hit a button on the transmitter nothing happens. It's not getting the commands somehow. Could I have disconnected something during the install/uninstall of the alarm?

 

Why did you even remove the alarm? Should of just left the alarm and use it as one of the selling points.
Besides if you're not doing the install yourself, it's pretty pointless to take the alarm out. No shop is gonna install the alarm for you without charging you up the A$$..

 

???. I just installed the alarm 2 months ago. It's a Viper 5901 and it's not cheap. Besides, the girl that's buying the car could care less about a viper alarm. I'm putting it in my new car.
