INFINITI to NISMO Clock MOD
Well, since I've got a SKYLINE/NISMO theme going with my "G" the only Two things left on my car that say INFINITI are my Clock & my Seat Backs. I had planned to go with the "SKYLINE" Logo (I cut out of a JDM SKYLINE Brochure) on the Clock Face & I still may, but I didn't have any thin clear double-sided tape at the time. So I went with the "NISMO" logo. I cut down a NISMO sticker & sprayed it with a Low Gloss Clear enamel so it would match up better with the flat black Clock Face. A smaller NISMO Sticker might have looked better but I didn't have one. It has a nice glow at night with the instrument lights on.
As always my "G" is a work in progress & is always subject to change...

How did you pull the clock out? Did you have to remove the glove box to get to it? Please advice, this is a cool feature.

No you don't have to remove the glove box, just the plastic shroud around the clock & AC temp. read outs. Removing the shroud from the dash was a pain. You really have to muscle it out. Place your thumbs in the corner of the AC/Compass area of the shroud cover. Pull slightly up & Back towards the front seats. There are 4 tabs holding it in place pointing towards the Firewall. It's TUFF but it will come out...
After removing the Shroud the clock removal & mod was a breeze, still looking for smaller "NISMO" & "SKYLINE" Logos though...

WHOA! came out lookin awesome... you should do a write up diy. how did you get the NISMO to look so flush and not look like an add on???

if you're looking for a small skyline or nismo writing, try looking at a RC car GTR, it will have small stickers that come with the body
