Have 2 tires to choose from. which one would you choose?

Why only those tires? For a little less than both of those you can get a set of Vredestein's which have much better performance than either of those.

I don't like either, I just replaced the Handkooks on my car, they only lasted a little over 4000 miles so I was very disappointed. I have the Kumho SPTs now and they handle great in wet and dry weather. I called Handkook myself about the tire issue and all they said was they were sorry.

i am pretty happy with the Handcooks, my step mom just put them on her coupe as well and loves how quiet they are

No, I don't race my car. The front tires were just about balled at yes 4000 miles. I took pics and sent them to Handkook and went back to the salesman that sold me the tires and he couldn't believe it. Handkook doesn't have a tread warranty for the tires either. The highways here are asphault and concrete but they still shouldn't have worn out that fast.

I've got the Falken 452s (245/35 and 275/35 19) and they have virtually no wear on them so far after 10,000 miles. When they actually do start to wear a little on the inside (which they will, because of the stock camber) I'll have them swapped sides. I expect they should last 30k at the least.
The Falken's can be had as cheap as the V12s, and the wear rating is a little better too (300).
P.S. IMO I'd stay away from the Vredestein tires, they're affordable, and some have bought into the "tire test hype" which is paid for advertising baloney, but my car came with a set that were horrible. They wore very quickly and unevenly, with major cupping (and nothing was different with my stock suspension set up) and they were crazy loud.

Hankooks are good, but I would disagree with them having a better reputation than Goodyear (who have been in the tire business since the first car). It's just that you have more people talking good things about Hankooks because more people bought them due to the lower price. Again, Kooks ARE really good for the price, but Goodyear's reputation has actually been better & for longer.
