Why only those tires? For a little less than both of those you can get a set of Vredestein's which have much better performance than either of those.

V12s tested well but only the michelin has been tested against this tire and the Eagle F1

I don't like either, I just replaced the Handkooks on my car, they only lasted a little over 4000 miles so I was very disappointed. I have the Kumho SPTs now and they handle great in wet and dry weather. I called Handkook myself about the tire issue and all they said was they were sorry.

No, I don't race my car. The front tires were just about balled at yes 4000 miles. I took pics and sent them to Handkook and went back to the salesman that sold me the tires and he couldn't believe it. Handkook doesn't have a tread warranty for the tires either. The highways here are asphault and concrete but they still shouldn't have worn out that fast.

^ How's ur rear toe alignment? What's the wear rating on those...

Anyway when I researched I boiled it down to Yoko S-Drives or Sumitomo HTR Z III. I went for the Sumi's.

That's crazy. I wouldn't expect Hankook to do anything thing about this, it definitely sounds like you have a bad tow in/out problem in your front end. An alignment shop can adjust your tow back to zero (if your on stock springs still), however they can't really do much about camber (but it's tow that really eats through the tires anyway)

I've got the Falken 452s (245/35 and 275/35 19) and they have virtually no wear on them so far after 10,000 miles. When they actually do start to wear a little on the inside (which they will, because of the stock camber) I'll have them swapped sides. I expect they should last 30k at the least.

The Falken's can be had as cheap as the V12s, and the wear rating is a little better too (300).

P.S. IMO I'd stay away from the Vredestein tires, they're affordable, and some have bought into the "tire test hype" which is paid for advertising baloney, but my car came with a set that were horrible. They wore very quickly and unevenly, with major cupping (and nothing was different with my stock suspension set up) and they were crazy loud.

Hankooks are good, but I would disagree with them having a better reputation than Goodyear (who have been in the tire business since the first car). It's just that you have more people talking good things about Hankooks because more people bought them due to the lower price. Again, Kooks ARE really good for the price, but Goodyear's reputation has actually been better & for longer.
