air bag light flashing...module replacement?

I have an 03 g coupe and my airbag light is flashing. I did the reset 3 times and it works for a month and the comes on flashing again. My car dose not fall under the recall so no luck there. My question is did anyone replace the module it self and how hard is it to replace? or is there is it the wire harness? and where are these parts located? I will try and scan it to get the code. HELP IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY...

I have an 04 Z and it is doing the same thing and I have had no luck asking and looking also. If you get any info I would love to hear what it is.

Try doing the reset procedure and see if that takes care of it. I did mine but it came back on after a while.

referring to this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...-flashing.html

and quoting myself:
i had that problem with my 03, and i did the reset but it kept coming on so figured it was a real problem. took it into the dealer, and they replaced a bunch of stuff (airbag sensor and stuff i don't remember)

heres the weird part. the bill came out to over 1100 for parts. and i was worried because this was last year and my car was way past warranty. but apparently the airbag warranty is separate and 10 years (thats what the dealer said) and i ended up paying for nothing. hopefully you have the same case.

anyways did you take to the dealer to see if recall mattered or did you just assume? might not matter and might still be under warranty like mine.

did you specify airbag warranty? cause my dealer said it was separate than the standard warranty. i was past 6 years when i got mine done (not 70k tho), and they said the airbag warranty was longer.

maybe i got lucky, but also hopin u have the same luck. well, gluck with it.

I had this problem with my 05 coupe. No matter how many times I reset the computer, the light comes on within a couple hours or even minutes. I went to the dealership, since airbags are covered until 70k like you said, and they confirmed it was a faulty drivers side airbag module.

I have no idea as to the location or any other info, sorry man. I searched on ebay motors and came accross this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-O...item27b103b7bd

It's sold from an Infiniti dealership for $230, you need to know which side is faulty though. It could be either Passanger or Drivers.

Found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SRS-A...item335c21d5a9

Send your module to them and they reset it. I don't know if that is what you need but it's cheap :P
