okay so if I buy a set of rims that they reccomend using hub rings with, what does that mean. And if I also get hubcentric spacers (ichiba) do I still need the hub rings? Thanks

 

When they made your car the OE wheels and mounting surface are perfectly matched. If you buy aftermarket wheels the may not be, so the hub rings center your wheels to match. Without them you'll never have a perfectly balanced tire/wheel.

Plus the Ichiba et al are the same as OE size hub, so you will still need hub-rings.
