New owner, Aero kit stolen!

After getting home with my new ride. I noticed the aero kit was stolen off my Diamond Graphite 04 6mt! Carefully removed, only a bit of the double sided tape remaining in back. At first I was a bit bent out of shape, rightfully feeling robbed. But then I gradually realized, the lines of the car are pretty killer to begin with, and in fact, the aero kit contrasts with those lines, (especially the front parts).

Currently, I'm actually totally fine with what occured. I literally feel, (in my personal opinion) that the kit ($500 option when new) was tacky and an afterthought for "EXTREME" folks who had money to burn and didnt care if it was an actual improvement or not. I'm not grateful to the theif, as I would have prefered to remove it myself, but its interesting how it turned out.

Now I'm thinking of nixing the carbon fiber eyelids on headlights. :P

Wow Sam, When you said, Aero kit I'm thinking front/rear spoiler but it was the mud guards and trim. I like that and it does serve a purpose and keeps mud/rocks from damaging the body. Be careful removing the adhesive so you don't scratch the paint, GooGone or WD40 will do a great job but soak it really good. Enjoy your new ride and Welcome to Driver!

Your first investment should be an alarm. Just a thought.

Wow! You my friend are going to live to be 120 years old. I would have gotten so mad, my nose would have started bleeding. Way to stay positive. I can learn something from you! Props.

here is how it looks now, unwashed and in the rain.

The kit was held on by double sided tape.. is that factory??

theres 2 screws that really hold it on, but actual total should be three plus the tape..., inside the wheel and under the car.. I think 1 is a plastic screw.

but looks like your mud guards was swiped... way to be on the postitive side. these parts for the rear cost like 80 bucks..
